The benefits of vacuum sealing

Vacuum sealing holds in the food’s moisture, juices and flavour. You’ll notice the difference in taste. Vacuum sealed meat also doesn’t get freezer burn, keeping it fresher for longer.

Preserving food for longer means less food spoilage and less waste. Plus, it allows you to freeze food in bulk and safely store it for future use, an excellent option for hunters and home butchers.

Vacuum sealers keep food fresh for as much as five times longer than freezing alone. By removing oxygen from the food, you deprive bacteria of what it needs to spoil the food.

Vacuum sealing has other uses too, such as for preparing and cooking meals. You can use it to marinate food and for sous-vide slow cooking to lock all the juices and flavours into the food as it cooks. Vacuum sealed food also stores better in the fridge. The process compacts the food and prevents leakage, saving you from having to clean up unwanted spills.
